The BSA Boarding Fellowship launched by the Boarding Schools’ Association in 2016 gives an experienced senior member of the boarding community the opportunity to undertake a unique research opportunity.
The successful applicant will visit 10 boarding schools of their choice and will collate their data in a research project analysing the different schools and their boarding provision.
Eligibility and criteria
To apply to the Boarding Fellowship please complete the form below, it must be signed by the Head of the school as authorisation of leave for the 10 days leave.
The fellow will present their findings at the Annual Conference for Deputy Heads and Head of Boarding 2020.
The BSA will provide £1,000 towards the cost of travel.
The deadline for submission of the research project is March 28, 2019.
All applications must have the permission of the Head to apply for the fellowship. All applicants must make sure their research proposal is compatible with boarding legislation and guidelines
Applicants may only submit one application per year.
