The Governors of Tonbridge School wish to appoint a new Head of Science to start in September 2022. The successful candidate will have studied a science related degree and should be capable of teaching to A Level and Oxbridge entry. The successful candidate will lead a faculty of 23 teaching staff and 8 highly-trained laboratory technicians. The faculty is situated across three floors of the state-of-the-art Barton Science Centre, comprising 21 teaching spaces, three departmental libraries, three preparatory rooms, one project lab, a dynamic atrium space, a staff open-plan office, and a roof garden.
A willingness to contribute to the wider co-curricular and pastoral life of the school will be expected.
