Wanted for September 2010 for an academic year, three graduate Gap Assistants to work in an 11–18 girls’ boarding school. This post will interest students who wish to gain experience in independent education. Your primary responsibility will be in the two boarding houses to which you are attached, where you will have evening duties. You will be involved with the extensive weekend programme of activities run both on and off campus. You will also be attached to an appropriate academic department according to your skills and interests and the school’s own needs. This will give you a sense of the variety of activities involved in running a boarding school. (Please note that candidates must already have the right to work in the UK as we are unable to issue sponsorship certificates needed for work visas.)
