Why should you attend?
This seminar is aimed at nurses new to the boarding school environment or those who need to update their skills. It offers the opportunity to meet other school nurses and share ideas or concerns making the move into the private sector brings.
To promote confidence in a non-health care setting and offer help and guidance on basic policy requirements, working with non-medical staff and working autonomously.

The seminar aims to instil confidence in building the nursing role within the broader boarding community. It offers a range of content to enable nurses to immediately apply to their practice as well as resources for promoting best practice within the educational setting.

Speaker: Jill Hill, Lead Nurse, Cheltenham Ladies College and BSA Nurse Advisor
Jill is the Lead Nurse at Cheltenham Ladies College and one of the BSA Nurse Advisors. After a long career as a senior nurse in Emergency care, Jill started at CLC in 2012 and has never looked back. Jill is passionate about promoting the nursing profession within the educational environment and is an advocate for her pupils and the staff supporting them.
