Two pupils from Bromsgrove Preparatory School are celebrating after receiving the exciting news that they will perform at Birmingham Hippodrome this summer in Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
Neave Colley and Siena Ward will both be part of the children’s choir in the show and have begun rehearsing with the School of Theatre Excellence to develop their musical theatre skills in the lead up to the performances in July.
Commenting on the news, Neave’s Mum, Sam Colley said “After her audition, it is really all Neave spoke to me about for the whole weekend – ‘Mum have you heard yet? Check your emails’. When we did hear, so did the whole village we live in, as she screamed the place down in excitement. Needless to say, the only songs sung in our house at the moment are from Joseph!”
Mr Stewart Ward, father of Siena said “Siena has had a passion for music, dance and drama from a very early age. She is very excited to have the opportunity to perform on a large stage at such an excellent theatre, alongside some amazing talent”.
The School of Theatre Excellence have started rehearsals; the children have begun learning the songs and have continued with ballet, jazz and acting lessons.
The show begins on Tuesday 2nd July until Saturday 13th July.
