Dream job’ for Surrey Storm’s Nicole Humphrys
10th September 2019

Surrey Storm’s Nicole Humphrys has joined Gordon’s School as Head of Netball.

In her younger years, Ms Humphrys played for Hertfordshire Mavericks before playing for England U19 and U21 age groups and Team Bath and Severn Stars while studying Sport Science at Bath University.

She will coach all age groups at the co-educational day and residential boarding school in West End, Surrey, managing 15 teams.

Netball is a major sport at Gordon’s and the school boasts England netball player Eboni Usoro-Brown (nee Beckford-Chambers) as a former student.

Ms Humphrys said: “Netball is a game that is won and lost on errors. I want to get the basics right and build up their resilience. It’s about their character as well. Work hard to better yourself and you will be rewarded”.

She added: “I love teaching kids and love netball so this is my dream job!”
