A Prestatyn swimming star gained a haul of trophies from a recent event.
Rhyl Swimming Club member Osca Clark, a Year 6 pupil at Rydal Penrhos Preparatory School, continued his fine form in the pool by taking home no less than five trophies from a competitive gala in the Under 10 section.
This is the latest in a series of tremendous performances from the youngster, who took up swimming at the age of three at Prestatyn Nova.
Preparatory School headmaster Roger McDuff, said: “Everyone at the school is delighted for Oscar, who continues to develop his phenomenal swimming talent at a rapid rate.
“His commitment to the sport both in and out of school is exemplary and this will stand him in good stead as he looks for further success at events in the future.”
The 10-year-old pupil said that his greatest triumph was winning the 100 metre backstroke, which is not his preferred style of swimming, but he managed to take home the prize after working hard on his technique.
Osca is following in the footsteps of his brother Marcus, who is also a highly-touted swimmer with the club.
