BSA are thrilled to announce the release of our Commemorative Golden Jubilee Publication. The 100 page magazine celebrates 50 years of boarding.
Contributors include Tony Little (BSA Honorary President), Robin Fletcher (BSA National Director), Peter Green (Rugby Headmaster), Felicia Kirk (St Mary's Calne Headmistress) and Ian Davenport (CEO Springboard).
The publication covers the history of BSA and boarding in the UK, work in the sector and government to improve child safeguarding and it includes words and images from those at the heart of our communities - the boarders.

During the academic year 2015-2015, the Boarding Schools' Association is celebrating 50 years of boarding. BSA member schools are leading boarding worldwide with over 75,000 students in our care. Throughout this year we aim to promote and celebrate all that boarding can offer.
Members have been sent Golden Jubilee plaques to display in school, the winner of the first Boarding Fellowship, a research project for the boarding sector, will be announced in the coming weeks. John Lewis have challenged boys' boarding houses to win £2,000 towards house furnishing and house staff have applied to be the second winner of the Stephen Winkley Boarding Achievement Award to be announced at the Annual Conference for Heads in May. National Boarding Week will take place week commencing 20 June and events will include the Big Boarding Bake Off in partnership with Sodexo and The Big Boarding Sing conducted by Dominic Peckham.
