The event, which is open to both pupils and non-pupils at the school, will go through a number of key elements of harp playing, and will finish off with a performance by students that parents are welcome to attend.

John Wright, head of music at Rydal Penrhos, said: “We are thrilled that Eira has agreed to visit Rydal Penrhos, as she is one of the most respected people in her chosen field.

“She brings with her a tremendous amount of experience and this is sure to benefit those that attend significantly.

“Young harpists from across the region are welcome to attend what should be a fabulous and very interesting day with someone at the top of her profession.”
