Next Generation Sevens have once again been confirmed at the school for the two-day event, which will take place from Tuesday, August 16 to Wednesday 17.
Both days will be available for under 12 to 15 players, and it will give budding sevens’ players the chance to develop their skills under top international coaches.
The school held a similar three-day camp in February, which featured former Wales and British Lions star Andy Powell as a coach, in addition to ex-Sale Shark Nick Wakley and Samurai Sevens international Jonathan Hooper.
Both pupils and non-pupils of Rydal Penrhos are welcome to attend.
Director of Sport Allen Boyd, said: “We are delighted to be welcoming Next Generation Sevens back to Rydal Penrhos this summer, and it promises to be another tremendous opportunity for young players to learn from some of the very best coaches in the business.
“Our camp over February half term proved to be very successful, with players from as far away as Scotland attending, and we hope that this camp will prove just as beneficial for those looking to improve their game.
“Gaining experience in sevens is a huge asset to have in a player’s development at a young age, and since it was awarded Olympic status the profile of the game has raised considerably.”
The cost of the camp is £95 per child, and those wishing to book can do so by visiting http://www.nextgen7s.com/courses or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
