Adam Sabri, an upper sixth pupil at the school, has been rewarded for a fine series of performances in training with select to the Gogs’ squad for the Fosters 7s, which will be held at Cardiff Arms Park.
RGC will face Bridgend in Round One on Sunday August 28, with the pair also set to square off on the opening day of the new-look Principality Premiership, which the be their first ever top flight game.

Another academy product Sean Lonsdale recently hit the headlines after securing a high profile move to English Premiership side Exeter.
Sabri is no stranger to competition, having played a starring role in RGC’s unbeaten run at the Conwy International Festival along with four other pupils from the school, and he will also begin his role of Head Boy when the academic year begins next month.
Director of Sport Allen Boyd, added: “This is a great honour for Adam and one that is richly deserved based on his sevens performances.

“We are very proud of our partnership with RGC, which has brought with it phenomenal success over the last 12 months.”
