Cranleigh is pleased to announce the launch of Cranleigh Culture, a new annual magazine celebrating the best of the School’s alumni and speaker network.
The first issue includes original articles by: historians Andrew Roberts, Bettany Hughes and Eva Namusoke, philosopher AC Grayling, fashion designer Bunmi Olaye, sculptor Nicholas Dimbleby, footballer Graeme le Saux and futurist David Price.
Ex Cultu Robur (from culture comes strength) is Cranleigh’s motto and was the phrase at the heart of the School when it was founded in 1865. Today’s pupils still enjoy a day that is built around a strong academic timetable which still prioritises time for sports, music, drama, and the creative arts, enabling every child’s talent to flourish. Old Cranleighans – our celebrated academics, politicians and business leaders, our national standard athletes, our musicians, artists and actors – are testament to its success.
Cranleigh Culture is a celebration of the Cranleigh’s ethos and whole community. Read the full edition here: https://www.cranleigh.org/culture/
