Rydal Penrhos has announced another exciting development as part of ongoing improvements to various facilities across the school.
Headmaster Simon Smith confirmed that work to upgrade the Dining Hall is now underway as it continues to benefit from its partnership with catering providers Holroyd Howe after they took over on St David’s Day earlier this year.
This development has come after a period of “consultation” between the two parties, and will involve a complete restructure of the serving areas and furniture at the facility.
The work will also see the kitchen receive a makeover and receive state of the art equipment as part of the investment, which will benefit both day and boarding pupils considerably in the coming years.
Short-term changes have been made to the current menu for the remainder of the academic year due to the ongoing work, that is set to be completed for the start of the autumn term in September.
Mr Smith, said: “After a period of consultation and design work we are, I’m delighted to say, about to embark in the Senior School on a significant investment project to purchase new cooking equipment, serving areas and dining furniture.
“This will reap significant benefits in the long term which will shorten queuing time, further improve the menus and provide a contemporary dining experience which we can all appreciate and be proud of.
“I look forward to inviting everyone associated with Rydal Penrhos you to experience our new facilities in September.”
