This is a fantastic position for those wishing to work with young people whilst also living in the heart of Manchester. We are looking for new House Assistants to join the boarding/ pastoral team, assisting with the day-to-day care and boarding routines of the students. The role could involve working with either our youngest students, aged 9-13 or our senior students, aged 14-18 and there is some flexibility available.
The jobÂ
- The role for resident House staff is 40 hours a week and with three or four day or evening shifts during the week and one or two at the weekend. However, because of the nature of pastoral care, the role requires a flexible approach.
- The role is residential and single person accommodation is available.
 In returnÂ
- You will be paid £9.50 per hour.
- You will receive free term-time accommodation for the duration of your contract including utility bills, this may be in a shared flat.
- You will be entitled to the provision of all meals during term time.
