Free webinar & Q&A about the Schools Allergy Register

On Monday 17th June at 11.30am we will be running a webinar and Q&A about the Schools Allergy Register.

The Schools Allergy Register is a published list of schools who adhere to the Schools Allergy Code – a framework setting out best practice for allergy management. Since the Register went live on our website last month we have been inundated with enquiries about how to join.

The session will be hosted by Founder of The Allergy Team, and mother of two boys with allergies, Sarah Knight. She will give a short presentation about the Code and the Register before taking questions.

One question she will definitely be addressing is “Does my school need to adhere to the Schools Allergy Code before signing up to the Register?”.

The short answer is no. The Allergy Team will support you to put the requirements of the Schools Allergy Code in place and provide you with CPD accredited whole-school allergy and anaphylaxis training.

You can find out all about the support we offer and much more on Monday, 17th June at 11.30am.

If you can’t make the session live, we will record it, and send it out to everyone who registered – just remember to submit your question in advance!

Department for Education backing

The Department for Education recommends the Schools Allergy Code and sent it out to schools in a bulletin earlier this year.

The Code was created by The Allergy Team in partnership with Independent Schools’ Bursars Association and Benedict Blythe Foundation and has been featured widely in the press, including BBC Breakfast, The Times, BBC Morning Live, 5Live and on Good Morning Britain. You can see all the press here.

We hope to see you on the webinar on Monday!
