The awards are designed to give independent schools an opportunity to celebrate and showcase their extraordinary achievements, and 2024 has been no exception. The innovative and life-affirming student experience which independent schools provide to their students is awe-inspiring and the stories told in the entries are both moving and humbling.
In this year of likely deep-seated political change, it is more important than ever that the valuable contribution made by the independent sector is recognised. Reading through the 2024 entries, the judges were particularly struck by the extraordinary and compelling work that schools undertake in partnership with the maintained sector throughout the UK. Supporting the educational aspirations of young people from all backgrounds is at the heart of their mission.
These awards are added to the already burgeoning number of awards the School has won and been shortlisted for over the past year and the School is delighted that their excellence across so many academic and co-curricular areas is being recognise on a national scale.
