The Learning Village is an English as an Additional Language (EAL) programme specifically designed for new arrivals and intermediate learners in English-medium schools. Its primary (the Village) and secondary (the Islands) programmes teach everyday survival language, phonics and curriculum content to learners. It’s a great resource for learners who are new to English – as well as for learners with SEN, who need a carefully scaffolded approach to language and literacy.
Introduction to AssessEP

This webinar is an introduction to AssessEP, a robust English language proficiency assessment platform, which helps you identify your learners’ starting points in English, provides you with a quick summative spot check of their level on all four language skills (reading, listening, writing and speaking) and an alignment to other EAL continua (e.g. BELL, CEFR, etc).
