A team of equestrian students from Leweston School came second at the Inter-Schools show jumping competition at the Platinum Jubilee Royal Windsor Horse Show on Saturday 14 May.
Many congratulations to Leweston School Equestrian team, who all rode brilliantly on Saturday 14 May to take 2nd place in the Inter-Schools show jumping at the very special Platinum Jubilee Royal Windsor Horse Show.
Competing at this hugely prestigious event, against the 19 other qualifying School Equestrian Teams, they achieved three clear rounds and picked up just four faults between them. They were amongst only four teams to achieve three clear rounds, and were only 2 seconds away from overall victory. The team were sixth to go and led the leaderboard for the majority of the class until Seaford just pipped their time. Such an impressive display from the school’s talented riders and their horses.
A very big well done to Flora S-B, Year 11, May S, Year 9, Hen J, Year 8 and Molly C, Year 10, and their fantastic horses!
Well done to the school’s Equestrian Team Manager, Lorraine Roberts, and to the families and friends working hard behind the scenes, helping to make this possible.
