Course outline:

BSA’s Boarding box set series offers boarding staff and school leaders a broad overview of a range of key topics relating to boarding. This series is ideal for staff moving into senior positions in boarding, preparing for deputy headship and consolidating their understanding on the wider sector ‘headlines’.

This set will be £650 for a member series place.

A whistle-stop tour of immigration responsibilities for UK boarding schools who are sponsors. All members of SMT/SLT have a duty to understand their sponsor responsibilities and legal obligations. This webinar will provide an overview of key sponsor duties and compliance requirements. Delegates will gain a broad understanding of their responsibilities and will be signposted to key documents critical to recruiting international students.

Training topics will include:

An overview of the UK’s child student and student immigration routes
Key sponsor duties, including BCA and educational oversight
Specific reporting and child safeguarding duties
What to cover before assigning a CAS.
