Last week the Prime Minister emphasised the importance of keeping pupils with allergies safe at school and reminded school governing bodies of their legal duty to make arrangements for supporting pupils with medical conditions.
The issue was raised in the House of Commons thanks to the ongoing campaigning of Helen Blythe whose five-year-old son, Benedict, died from anaphylaxis following an allergic reaction at school. |
