Joe Parfitt, Consultancy Director, The Litmus Partnership Ltd
Joe is Education Consultancy Director at The Litmus Partnership Ltd, a leading provider of catering and facilities management consultancy to schools and universities across the UK. He joined Litmus in 2012 and has worked extensively across the independent school sector as a consultant since 2008. Before that he managed student residences in London and worked for a global facilities company.
Whilst with Litmus, Joe has provided strategic and best value reviews, options appraisals, tenders, contract monitoring and catering design to clients including Marlborough College, Wellington College, Bradfield College, various Oxford University colleges and other leading UK universities. Beyond education, Joe’s clients have included the All-England Lawn Tennis Club (Wimbledon), the House of Commons, and Welsh Government & Parliament.
Matt Garner, Senior FM Consultant, Litmus
Matt is a Senior FM Consultant at Litmus. His career started in construction, where for two decades he managed property and construction projects in both the public and private sectors, creating spaces for people and organisations to develop and improve. In 2015 he moved into services within that built environment.
His operational experience was gained in his previous roles as Chief Executive Officer, Gov Facility Services Ltd (GFSL), an Arm’s Length Body, wholly owned by the Ministry of Justice. He was also Managing Director of Government Schools UK & Ireland, Head of Projects & Programme Management and Associate Director of Investment and Infrastructure at Sodexo for over 12 years.
