Course outline
This day seminar aims to develop colleagues’ confidence working with pupils regarding sexual orientation and gender identity matters.
With looming government guidance on transgender matters in school and expected updated guidance on RSE, it has never been more important to have an in-depth understanding of sexual orientation and gender while working with young people. Our day seminar will empower delegates to consider matters of sexual orientation and gender in schools with the background knowledge necessary. Therefore they feel more able to make informed decisions which keep the wellbeing of young people at the heart of the conversation.
