Course outline:
This course takes a look at understanding the teenage brain. It focuses on development in relation to mental health, risk-taking and behaviours seen in the boarding setting.
Training topics will include:
- The normal brain
- The teenage brain
- Why they behave the way they do

- To have a better understanding of the teenage brain and what is normal behaviour
- To identify and manage learned behaviours
- To identify when things go wrong and put in support strategies
