The Role

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our dynamic Marketing Team at Rugby School. Working closely with the Head of Marketing & Brand, you will play a pivotal role in designing engaging and impactful visual content that promotes Rugby School to current and prospective parents and other key stakeholders. You will be a guardian of the Rugby School brand, ensuring that all design work aligns with the established guidelines while delivering high-quality visual assets across various channels. • Design a range of marketing materials, including press adverts, brochures, event posters, yearbooks, recruitment packs, infographics, and more.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to provide creative and design support for various projects, including admissions-related marketing, presentations, and reports.
  • Adapt and refine designs based on feedback from internal stakeholders, ensuring the highest standards are met.
  • Work with photographers and videographers to ensure an efficient workflow for visual content, maintaining an organised library of assets.
  • Maintain and update the School’s photographic/image libraries and adhere to guidelines on GDPR, copyright, privacy, and web accessibility.
  • Provide creative support for other schools within the Group, and work with other departments at Rugby School as required.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills across both digital and print media.
  • Proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and experience with web design principles.
  • A keen eye for detail and an understanding of typography, layout, and visual storytelling.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
  • Experience with content management and maintaining visual asset libraries.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects, meet deadlines, and take ownership of your work.
  • A passion for design and an ability to adapt quickly to the evolving needs of the School’s marketing strategy.

Why Join Us?

  • Work in a prestigious and inspiring educational environment.
  • Flexible working arrangements, with some opportunity to work from home.
  • A collaborative and creative team atmosphere, with opportunities for continuous learning and development.
