The Prep School is looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to lead the provision of games, PE and swimming from pre-school to year 6. The full-time Head of Sport leads a small team of specialist teachers (one full time and one part time), and other colleagues willingly support some sessions.

The Head of Sport reports to the Prep School Head but also has a close working relationship with the senior school Director of Sport to ensure that a cohesive vision for sport is embedded across the whole school.

We are looking for someone who is an excellent communicator, and able to inspire the confidence of pupils, parents and colleagues. The Head of Sport should be able to plan strategically whilst maintaining day to day momentum. A key aspect of this role will be ensuring a broad offering of sports, wide participation and enjoyment coupled with high performance.

Our successful candidate will have a passion for sport, wellbeing and a healthy lifestyle – they should be an enthusiastic participant or supporter of sports that can inspire our pupils.
