Padworth College, a co-educational boarding and day school for international and British students aged 14-19 years, is seeking to appoint a Principal to take the College forward on the next stage of its journey. Providing purposeful leadership to enable all students and staff to excel, we are seeking a Principal to lead our drive on academic standards, as well as developing our unique proposition. A firm commitment to leading a busy independent boarding school is essential, living on site, within beautiful accommodation.
We are seeking someone who:
- has strong leadership, management and organisational skills.
- has excellent interpersonal skills.
- has a track record in whole school improvement.
- is a team player and can adapt to a small school’s changing needs.
- has experience of working in a leadership position, within the Independent schools sector.
- has excellent experience of working with international and domestic (UK) students.
- has good boarding school knowledge, ideally with experience as a safeguarding lead.
Padworth College is set in 11 beautiful acres, 9 miles outside Reading. We provide a pathway to university for international and domestic students with small, tutorial style teaching and caring, pastoral support.
