The Royal Alexandra and Albert School exists to give our children a distinctly different start in life, preparing them for the world with hope, optimism, compassion and empathy.

We are a co-educational, non-selective state boarding school, for boys and girls aged 7 – 18. This is a boarding school with Flexi Boarding students attending from the local area and a lively community of around 400 Full Boarders, passionately involved in a wide range of after-school and weekend activities and trips.

The Role:

We are looking for a Teaching assistant (SEN focus) to join our successful and dynamic Special Educational Needs Department to support the learning of our students. This includes support in the classroom and may include working with small groups both within and outside of lessons.

Whether you have experience or are new to the role, it is essential that you are highly motivated, enthusiastic and have a passion for working with young people.

This role would also be ideal for someone who is looking to gain school experience prior to undertaking initial teacher training.
