Two members of Giggleswick School staff selected as Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts

Giggleswick School is proud to announce that their Director of Digital Learning, Lindsay Styler (right), and Deputy Head (Learning), Anna Wood (left), have been selected as Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts (MIE), a program created to recognise global educator visionaries.

Microsoft describers their Innovative Educator Experts as “self-driven educators who are passionate about teaching and learning, who inspire students with creative thinking, and work in a truly collaborative spirit to share their learning with the world. Resourceful and entrepreneurial, they relish the role of change agent, and work to achieve excellence in education using Microsoft technologies coupled with their innovative teaching practices.

Director of Digital Learning, Lindsay Styler, said: “Becoming a MIE Expert offers an exciting opportunity for us to collaborate with colleagues in a global, professional learning community and to further develop 21st century teaching and learning skills to deliver the very best educational outcomes for students at Giggleswick.”

Deputy Head (Learning), Anna Wood, said: “I am delighted to have been accepted onto the MIEE program and to be able to join a world group of educators all of whom are keen to drive learning forward and improve outcomes for all pupils. I am excited by the prospect of collaborating with schools around the world to develop the future ready skills of pupils at Giggleswick.”
