Felsted School is delighted to announce the appointment of Miranda Norris as Head of Felsted Prep from September 2022, following a rigorous process which attracted a number of very high quality candidates.
Miranda will be taking over from Simon James who has served the school community tremendously well since 2016.
Miranda brings with her over 18 years of senior leadership experience across state, independent and international settings. She joins Felsted from Dulwich College Junior school, where she is currently Head of the school’s pre-prep department (DUCKS). Previously, Miranda was Deputy Head of Dulwich College Junior Schools in Suzhou, China and more recently Dulwich College, Singapore.

Miranda’s experience to date has enabled her to deepen her knowledge of learning across all sectors and she is a passionate ambassador for building environments where children are inspired and engaged.
Miranda will be joining Felsted with her husband Kieron, who is also a teacher and has been a director of IT across different sectors, along with their two children Joseph & Evie.
Miranda comments; “I am absolutely thrilled to be joining the Felsted Family and very much looking forward to working with the whole Felsted community.”
