International Hockey Federation (FIH) and England Hockey coach Fraser Henderson has been appointed as Sherborne School’s new Director of Hockey Coaching.
Fraser Henderson joins Sherborne School from Clifton College, where he also coached the Clifton Robinsons Men’s 1st Team in the West Conference League. Passionate about his sport both as a player and coach, Fraser represented Scotland at both U18 and U21 level.
Hockey is a vibrant sport at Sherborne, with teams competing up to national level across all age groups. The speed at which the game is played necessitates careful attention to strength and conditioning among top players, ensuring that our hockey-playing boys are at the very peak of fitness. Fraser will continue to develop the strength of our hockey players with particular focus on indoor hockey, in Sherborne’s brand new Sports Centre indoor hockey facility.
