The Sherborne Prep School community have raised over £2,600 for School in a Bag!
On Tuesday, 28 January, Sherborne Prep was proud to welcome the CEO & Founder of School in a Bag, Luke Simon and volunteer, Katie Pratt to the Prep to speak to their staff and children. They listened to an inspiring talk, learning more about the charity, the countries they have helped, and the difference the school bags can make before the children were split into pairs and given a school bag to pack full of essential items including pencils, books and a lunch box.
The 130 school bags are now on their way to Sierra Leone and will be given to children in countries with very little, to support their education.
