EDI Culture Week at Woodhouse Grove School

Posted: 1st April 2025

Monday 17 March marked the start of a week of activities as part of the second ever Grove Culture Week.

Following the phenomenal success of our debut culture week last year, enjoyed by staff and students alike, we planned a host of inclusive activities celebrating individuality and cultures.

Students wrote positive messages on Shamrocks for St Patrick’s Day, bought cakes to raise funds for local charity Candlelighters, boogied across the lawn Bollywood style and tasted themed treats from our catering team.

The highlight of the week though was the EDI talent show last night. The array of talents displayed within our Grove Community was incredible – showcasing musical, dramatic and athletic talents as well as a fantastic magician, a great medley from our Year 7 and a beautiful poem performed by our sixth form about friendship.

Huge congratulations to everyone who took part and especially to our EDI Committee and Pastoral Team for organising the week’s events.
