Milton Abbey School is proud to announce that Sixth Form student, Maddie W, has achieved a Silver medal in the prestigious UK Biology Olympiad (BBO), narrowly missing out on Gold. This remarkable accomplishment highlights Maddie’s exceptional talent and dedication to the study of biology.
The British Biology Olympiad is a highly regarded competition designed to challenge and inspire students with a passion for biology. Participants are tested on their knowledge through two rigorous 45-minute multiple-choice papers, which are taken online under supervised exam conditions. The competition encourages students to broaden their scientific understanding and offers publicly recognized certificates to those who excel.
In addition to her outstanding performance in the Olympiad, Maddie has received firm offers to study Biology at both Durham and Bath Universities, further cementing her future in the field of biology.
