Keswick School is an 11-18 Academy with an impressive record in education locally and internationally. Our aim is to identify, nurture and develop the academic talents and personal interests of every pupil. Many of our students go on to study at university (including Russell Group and Oxbridge) or overseas. We are a cosmopolitan school with a wide range of different nationalities represented in our boarding house and day students who attend from across Cumbria. We invest time in developing positive relationships and it is therefore no surprise that our students develop the skills and attributes that enable them to respect others, be tolerant of individual differences, care for the environment and ultimately be responsible and successful members of society. This is by design not chance! We are proud of our history and traditions. We encourage excellence, resilience and above all friendliness, insist on the highest standards of behaviour and have a uniform that reflects our heritage. Our pupils enjoy coming to school, have positive attitudes, participate in a wide range of extra-curricular activities and consistently achieve more than they first thought possible!
