Perrott Hill is a coeducational day and boarding school for about 200 children aged 3-13 situated on a stunningly beautiful site close to the Somerset-Dorset border. The school has been variously described conversationally as ‘a hidden gem’ or ‘a well-kept secret’ and there is undoubtedly something very special indeed about it, captured by the phrase ‘time and space for a full education’ which is at the heart of all that we do.
Our small size has many benefits. It helps us take great care that the pupils are known, taught and nurtured as individuals within a genuine family atmosphere, whilst still allowing for an inspiring range of opportunities in which all get involved.
The children are encouraged to have a gentle self-confidence, a positive mindset, and to be the very best they can. Manners and courtesy are important; good humour and care for one another central.
