Rye St Antony is an independent boarding and day school for girls aged 3 to 18 yrs (and day boys 3-11yrs). Established as a lay Catholic Foundation in 1930, the school is situated in 12-acres of stunning woodland, 1 mile from the centre of Oxford. Rye offers excellent facilities and consistently high academic achievement within a nurturing environment and provides enriching opportunities that enable pupils to grow into confident, professional and rounded members of the wider community.
Academic
Rye promotes the highest levels of academic achievement and offers excellent teaching in intentionally small classes. Rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted and ‘Excellent’ by the ISI inspection, boarding at Rye provides the perfect environment for achievement and provides many enrichment opportunities. Girls form friendships that last a lifetime and pastoral care is second to none. Facilities are first class, with a traditional boarding house for years 5-10 and modern 6th Form Centre and individual bed/study rooms for years 11-13. Boarding is available termly, weekly or as part of a more flexible arrangement.
