Part of the NACE group of schools, Stonar offers unique day and boarding education for boys and girls aged 3–18.

Stonar’s internationally renowned Equestrian Centre enables riders to bring their horses to school or loan a school horse. Academic scholarships are offered in the Senior School to talented new pupils entering the school at all levels. There are also awards for pupils who are particularly talented in the following areas: Music, Drama, Sport and Riding. To enter for an academic scholarship, candidates may sit either the Common Entrance for Stonar or sit the Stonar Entrance examination for the appropriate age group, held in early January of the desired year of entrance. Sixth Form Scholarships Assessment for Sixth Form Scholarships are carried out towards the end of the Autumn Term prior to entry the following September. These are our own papers and do not require any special coaching or preparation by candidates. Reports will be required from the candidate’s present school and the Head’s reference will play an important part in the selection of scholars. All scholarship candidates will also be interviewed by the Head of Stonar.
