At Wycliffe we value tradition, embrace modernity and respect individualism. Wycliffe accepts pupils with a wide range of abilities and rejoices in their individual successes. Pupils are valued for who they are; diversity is celebrated. With a strong emphasis on personal development, pastoral care and pupil performance, Wycliffe supports and encourages its young people to make the most of the opportunities and outstanding facilities on offer. In September 2022, the Senior School was awarded excellent in all areas in the ISI inspection.
Academic excellence Wycliffe has welcomed British ex-pat and international boarding students into its active and happy school community for many years. They are supported so they achieve academic excellence. Sixth Formers progress to universities of their choice. At GCSE, there are 22 options on offer. In the Sixth Form over 32 subjects can be chosen – ranging from traditional subjects to more specialist fields (including Drama & Theatre Studies, Music Technology and Psychology). For those wishing to pursue more practically-based courses, there are BTEC National Diplomas in Sport, Media and Business Studies. Each is the equivalent of up to two A Levels and can be studied alongside a traditional A Level. Wycliffe recently is a South/West SAT Test Centre for US University entry
